Hey, I’m Leigh and I’m a freshman here at USC studying International Relations, with concentrations in International Politics & Security and the Middle East, and minoring in Global Communications. My career goal is to work in Middle Eastern Security and Intelligence, specifically on counter-terrorism. As someone with dual citizenship (United States and Israel), having a global perspective is really important to me, and I’m really excited to expand mine by traveling abroad through the Problems Without Passports and Alternative Spring Break programs!
I’ve also pursued my passions on campus by joining the Model U.N Club and the USC Homeland Security Student Organization, the latter of which places a strong emphasis on building networking relationships with USC alumni working in the field of Homeland Security. Additionally, I’m a Lifestyle section and Opinion section staff writer at the Daily Trojan, and a newly initiated member of the sorority Delta Delta Delta (Tridelt).
On a less academic note, I love to read, play volleyball, and bask in the golden glow of the amazing SoCal weather here. I love actions movies and mythology, and I despise cheese. My favorite part of being a Trojan is wearing USC apparel in random places (like the airport) and having people stop me to say “Fight On.” Nothing beats Trojan pride!
