This summer I have the opportunity to live and work in China for two months! I will be living and working at the Mission Hills Resort in Haikou, China. Haikou is on Hainan Island, which is the most southern province in China. I will be creating a marketing plan for the resort’s spa, which I am sure is going to be a great learning experience. I don’t know Mandarin, so I also hope to be able to pick up the language!
I have traveled to Europe and Africa before, but this will be my first time traveling to Asia. I cannot wait to experience all that the Chinese culture has to offer. The first stop on my adventure will be a 14-hour plane ride to Guangzhou from LAX on my 21st birthday (May 23rd) , and then I will have my connecting flight to Haikou!
