It’s hard to believe it’s already the fourth week of school here in Paris – it’s definitely been quite the experience! Sciences Po’s campus is nothing like the USC campus I’m used to. In fact, the buildings are on all different streets, although thankfully not very far from each other. I am taking six classes at Sciences Po, in both English and French, and most of them are related to International Relations. Sciences Po is an incredibly prestigious and rigorous school, and almost half of the student body is made up of international students, so I am definitely not alone!
I’ve already had my first exposé this week in my class on French Armament Policy. The exposé is basically an oral presentation, but, like many things at Sciences Po, it has a lot of rules and specifications. My partner and I were both exchange students, so we were really nervous about the presentation, but in the end it turned out great! (or at least I hope so!)
Now I have to get on my other homework and projects. But first, an even more pressing matter – planning spring break!
À bientôt!
