One of my favorite things about USC is the fact that it is incredibly focused on community involvement. I am part of an organization on campus called Troy Camp. Troy Camp was founded in 1948 and is USC’s official philanthropy. As a member of Troy Camp, I was a counselor for a group of eight [...]

Helenes recruitment is over, which means we have 25 wonderful new additions to our family. TC counselors put on a weeklong summer camp and then host activities throughout the following year with the campers. We also conduct a number of educational programs at local elementary schools and work [...]

This past weekend was Relay for Life at USC! Cromwell track was busy with walkers and runners alike and the center of the field was populated with tents and people playing soccer and frisbee. I walked with the USC Helenes and our theme was “Outsmart Brain Cancer.” I walked about 15 laps, so almost 4 [...]

Give hope. Share love. Spread joy. Service in the Park is a series of hands-on outreach projects put on by USC’s oldest female service organization, the Helenes. All members of the Trojan Family are encouraged to stop by and give back to charitable organizations in the greater L.A. area. Today was a typical Southern California [...]
