Congratulations on being accepted to go abroad! There is a lot of information you'll need to prepare for your journey, so you are required to attend both a General Orientation session and a Program-Specific Orientation. Are you registered with your home country's Embassy so that they can contact you in the event of an emergency? Are you clear on insurance matters? Do you know about International SOS? Are you registered to vote while away? Need to keep a tab on how things are going at USC while you're gone? This section is dedicated to all this infomration.
Remember that you must be registered at USC while you are abroad! Follow these instructions to register properly.
STA Travel offers services to assist students with booking their travels. The Airfare Despoist Program is open to university students and allows students to book airfare with only a $300 nonrefundable deposit ($49 on frequently traveled routes). Full payment is due to STA Travel 7 days prior to departure.

Financial Aid Meeting
Students who receive financial aid of any kind are strongly encouraged to attend this session.
Attend this session hosted by STA Travel to get help with arranging your travel logistics and advice on finding affordable plane tickets.
In addition to the General Orientation mentioned above, students planning to study abroad for the Spring 2016 semester must attend the pre-departure orientation for their specific country and/or program in the month of November.
