The Sixth Annual Joint GLS Symposium continues a tradition started by Stanford University and Dominican University of California in 2007 as a way to create a sense of academic community among our GLS programs through a weekend of intellectual and social interaction. Since 2008, the participating programs have expanded to include other west coast GLS programs and Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

The USC Master of Liberal Studies Program, together with the USC MLS Student Association, welcomes GLS students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to the Sixth Annual GLS Symposium, which opens with a reception on Friday, June 22, 2012, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Victory Room of The Radisson Midtown Hotel at USC.

The program will feature student presentations and opportunities to talk with colleagues from other schools.  The symposium sessions on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, 2012 will take place in USC's new award-winning Ronald Tutor Campus Center.
